To use this web site just click on the state you would like to check a USGS gauge in.

  1. Most states are in order of river basins, or rivers so click on the appropriate area you wish to view.
  2. Scroll through the list of gauges in the area you are searching. When you find the correct gauge click on the underlined number after the name, or the section of river you're planning to paddle.

Some major river runs have a correlation table which you can view after you find out what the river is running at.
